Years roll on and they roll on most swiftly........

Hey! I was your contemporary. We saw each other and we sat together on a cement bench close to the girls’ garden area for some time. We observed the beauties together and we became friends.

Years rolled on......

Smilingly, you went in some direction in search of your life’s goals and I also made my own voyage.......... then engrossed with our gnawing engagements and immediate priorities, we forgot each other. And our friendly togetherness faded away.

Years rolled on. The year1999 rolled into 2013.

By the time, I knew not that you married & had a pretty daughter and you knew not that I married & had a fine son.

Years rolled on......

One day I unexpectedly faced you on FACEBOOK. We exchanged our numbers. That very night we talked for 2 hours and concluded-OUR DAYS WERE FINISHED. OUR DAYS WERE FINISHED THE DAY OUR DAUGHTER/SONS WERE BORN.....

HOWEVER, it seems as if just yesterday we were sitting together on that cement bench close to The Girls’ garden of our college and the colourful dresses of our college queens were competing with the colourful butterflies of a typical winter morning.

Years roll on and they roll on most swiftly........

Some words of warmth

Venue:              Jayadev Bhaban
Time:                23rd Nov,12
Occasion:         The Platinum Jubilee birth Anniversary of Sri R.M.Ray

And an experience runs thus......

the meeting ended and a learned man from the dais came to me and complimented & blessed me and told me that my address and presentation before the gathering was a pleasant one. Those very words were very encouraging and it motivated to tap all my potentials in the coming days..........The motivation and inspiration still lingers......And I am most thankful to Prof. Harekrishna Sathapathy, V.C. of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati for his kind words that will serve as a source of lasting inspiration to me.

Miles to go

When darkness encircles our lives and our spirits are dampened in suicidal desperation, the inspiring lives of great men and women can provide us the strongest grounds for bright hopes. And at those troubled times of our lives their glorious and incomparble human endurance can prove to be the greatest solace and the brightest guiding lamp to the disheartened or dejected spirits.
EVERYBODY on earth has indubitably a hard life and even the people whom we say great have undergone many life-and-death struggles before reaching the heights that we often admire with our gaping mouths.
Hold your heads high, salute all those greatmen and women and rhyme with R.Frost, “ The woods are lovely, dark and deep/And I have miles to go before I sleep”
